• You must have Japanese nationality or be authorised to reside permanently in Japan.RequiredOrganisation’s wording: 日本国籍を有する者、又は日本への永住を許可されている者。
• During the whole scholarship payment period, you must not receive another scholarship. Student loans (which have to be repaid) and tuition fee waivers are excluded from this rule.RequiredOrganisation’s wording: 本奨学金の支給期間中、他の奨学金の支給を受けない者。[貸与型奨学金（返済が必要なもの）、学費免除は除く]
• You must need financial assistance.RequiredOrganisation’s wording: 経済的援助を必要とする者。
• You must be able to obtain a recommendation from the head of a Japanese university designated by the association.RequiredOrganisation’s wording: 本協会が指定する日本国内の大学の長の推薦を受けることができる者。
• You must be enrolled at Keio University from the application until the end of the scholarship payment period.RequiredOrganisation’s wording: 応募～支給期間中、慶應義塾大学に在籍していること。（本学離籍後に海外大学の在籍を続けることに問題はありませんが、支給期間は本学在籍期間中に限ります。）
