• Your academic record must be excellent.RequiredOrganisation’s wording: 学業成績が優秀な者
• You must live in Japan (or plan to live there) with the residence status 'Student' (留学).RequiredOrganisation’s wording: 在留資格は『留学』が条件です。
• Students funded by the Japanese government and those receiving from another organisation a grant of more than 50,000 yen per month (600,000 yen per year) are excluded.RequiredOrganisation’s wording: ただし、国費留学生及び他団体から月額5万円（年間60万円）を超える奨学金の性質を有する給付金を受けている者は除かれます。
