   Step 2: Register on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website (cis.chinese.cn), submit the application and print the 'International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Application Form'.To do at the same time as: step 1

   Step 3: Send the complete application file by post or hand it in in person at the International Students Office (Room 332, New Sun Student Center, Peking University, Haidian District, Beijing 100871).

   Documents to provide

   • 'Application Form for International Students (Master's)', printed after online registration, with photo and signature
   • Printed 'International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Application Form'
   • Original official graduation certificate in Chinese or English, colour copy of the degree certificate (with certified translation if in another language); degree authentication report from CSCSE (degrees obtained abroad) or CHSI (degrees obtained in mainland China)
   • Official transcript from the graduating institution, original or certified translation in Chinese or English
   • Personal statement, about 1500 characters, in the language of instruction of the programme
   • CV and application commitment letter
   • Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors in the field, in Chinese or English
   • Copy of the HSK score report
   • Copy of the HSKK score report
   • Copy of the passport, valid for at least three months after enrolment
   • For in-service Chinese teachers: certificate of employment and recommendation letter from the employer

   Step 4: The university assesses the application (document review, selection test/interview and the department's admission opinion) and draws up the list of admitted candidates.
